Salvatore Malone Plugged in and immediately works. Good sound reception. I like the room temperature monitor. I use this to keep an eye on my elderly mother in law. Once charged, I can take it to any room in the house. Monitor is small, but clear enough to see what’s going on in a room. Wish the dimming feature was better because it is very bright to look at in a dark room at night, but it keeps my mom safe. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, I recommend this device.
